happy birthday to me ; )

birthday double ovens! would you like the recipe??? find it at the end of the post.
the little sneak, took out my old system and wrapped it. i dont know when he stole the xterra, or how he installed the new system in it??? but he fooled me, and i loved it!
admiring his wrapping job, i think i should loan him out to the department stores for holiday work. (yes, that is painters tape)
thank you mother in law! what a cute cute tea cup?! i love reading and sipping on something herbal and heavenly.

love you brett!

brett's birthday double ovens (also know as german pancakes)

4 tbs butter
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
*1tsp vanilla
*2 tsp cinnamon
*1 tsp nutmeg

*can be removed if desired.

heat oven to 400. divide butter in half, (2 tbs) place in bottom of 2 9-inch pie plates. place pie plates in oven for 2-3 minutes, or until butter has melted.

in a medium sized bowl, beat eggs slightly with wire wisk (do not overbeat or pancakes might no puff) mix in flour, milk salt, *vanilla, *cinnamon, and *nutmeg. divide mixture evenly between 2 pie plates.

bake for 25-30 minutes, or until double ovens are light bronzed. serve immediately with syrup, fresh fruit, jelly, or (my favorite) lemon juice and powdered sugar.

enjoy!
